Peace on Earth

Hello to all of our friends and partners,

It’s Christmas time and although the song says, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”, a lot of people are feeling stressed and burned out. Every year at Christmas time, the number of people listening to our restful instrumentals goes through the roof. People are stressed as they are trying to wrap up everything at work before Christmas, trying to find the time and money to buy all the presents that they have to, dodging all of the crowds at shopping Centres and preparing for Christmas Day. It’s sad that the celebration of the birth of Jesus, who was and is the greatest gift that mankind could receive, can be so overwhelming. We have also just seen the most tragic anti-Semitic terror attack in our nations history that has shaken most of us to the core. So how do we deal with all of this?

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

You’ve heard the saying, “You can’t give what you don’t have”. I believe that this is a core issue at our walking in peace and having peace towards others. Jesus gave us His peace which is a supernatural peace that is a fruit of the spirit (Gal 5:22) and is not connected to our circumstances or situation. History records that the emperor Nero could not stand hearing the Christians, who were burned at the stake in the Colosseum, singing! When the church’s first martyr, Stephen, was being falsely accused and threatened, the Bible records that he did not angrily retaliate but that those who looked at him, saw his face as the face of an angel (I wonder what people see when they look into our faces). The Apostle Paul’s most joyous letter is the book of Philippians that was written from prison. I am not mentioning all of this to put anyone under condemnation but to point us to the fact that there is a supernatural peace that comes through a relationship with Jesus that has to be received by faith. I find that people who receive that peace are able to walk in that peace towards others. As the pressures of life come at us, just begin to thank God that the peace that you have is supernatural and not connected to your circumstances and struggles.

Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Cristie and I pray for God’s supernatural peace for you and also for our Jewish community as they deal with this evil and tragic attack. You are loved and valued by God who has given you the gift of Righteousness in Him and with it the gift of supernatural peace. If you would like to receive Jesus as your saviour and receive this supernatural peace then please email us and let us help you to receive the gift of salvation.

In less than three weeks Cristie and myself leave for a little over five months ministry in Europe and then a month of ministry in the USA. This is the longest time that we have ever been away from home so please pray for us as this is a massive step of faith, but one that we are doing in obedience to the Lords leading. We are also excited to announce the release of a worship manual that I have been writing, which contains over 30 years of experience in worship ministry. It is called, “Worship Team Dynamics: Keys to Building, Growing & Maintaining an Effective Worship Ministry”, and will be available in English and German. We are also excited to announce the release of our new instrumental album, “Sweet Sleep”, which is a purely acoustic guitar instrumental designed to quieten the mind to hear the voice of God and to you get refreshing sleep. These will be available on our website within a few days and on all streaming platforms at 9pm on December 23rd. If you feel that God is asking you to be a partner with our ministry either in prayer or finances or you may be prompted to give a one time gift towards our ministry then please click the link below. It costs a huge amount of money to minister overseas for six months, provide resources for the body of Christ as well as conduct our ministry here in Australia. We thank everyone who has stood along side us and helped make this all possible.

Cristie and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. We pray for you, love you and believe God’s best for you.

Love and blessings,

Peter and Cristie
