Resurrection Life

Hello Friends and Partners,

As you would all know, Easter is just around the corner. Easter is not about chocolate eggs but the death, buried and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (though I am totally partial to a good chocolate egg for breakfast once a year). We celebrate how Jesus died for our sins, paying the debt of sin that we could never pay (Rom 3:23) so that we would not only get to heaven when we die, but have closeness with the Lord and eternal and abundant life now here on earth. Everyone will live for ever, but fullness of life here on earth and our eternal destination in heaven came only through Jesus.

John 3:16-17 ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.’

The word saved is translated from the Greek word ‘sozo’ which literally means : heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole. I am so forever thankful that Jesus redeemed me from my sins so that I could be forgiven but also thank God that He was resurrected to give me an abundant life.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.’

I thank God for Jesus laying down His life on the Friday (that is why we celebrate on Good Friday), but I am eternally grateful for His resurrection on Sunday that allows us to walk in Abundant life NOW. All of us have areas in our lives that should be better but because of Jesus, we can live before the Lord as if we had never sinned (Col 2:13-15) and live a life of fellowship with the Lord , without fear or condemnation, that brings an abundant life (Rom 6:22). A life controlled by sin is a miserable life that will rob us, but we can walk a daily closeness with the Father that is empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring abundant life to those areas that we have tried and failed to change so many times. Don’t run from God but run to Him believing His word, that the same Glory that rose Jesus from the dead, can bring life to every dead area in your life that you can’t change by yourself! God wants you to have an abundant life!

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us’

Easter is a wonderful time to reset and allow the Holy Spirit to bring Gods resurrection power into every area of our life.

Cristie and myself have just gone over the halfway mark on our ministry trip to Europe. We are amazed at favour that the Lord has shown us and believe that God is preparing Europe for an incredible move of God. If you’d like to support this important assignment that we are on then you can click the link at the bottom of the page. We thank God for all of our friends and partners that make this ministry possible. If you would like to know Jesus and this abundant life that we are talking about then please email us through our website so that we can connect and pray with you.

We pray for you, love you and believe for Gods best for you. Happy Easter.

Blessings,
Peter & Cristie
