Hello to all of our friends and partners,
We are so humbled by the support and prayers of everyone and know that you are a part of every blessing and victory that we experience. I just wanted to share quickly with you, something that the Lord has been dealing with me about.

Mixed martial arts is quickly becoming one of the most popular forms of fighting discipline in the world today. Every fighting style has a stance and that particular styles strength is found when fighting from that stance (eg. Karate and Kung Fu fight with a back-leaning stance, Boxing is a forward-leaning stance and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a stance that has a low centre of gravity).
The long and the short of it is that with mixed martial arts, no matter what situation you find yourself in, you can fight from a place of strength. I firmly believe that our fighting stance, as a Christian, is to be praising God. No matter what may come against us, if we maintain a stance of praising God then we will always be fighting from a place of strength. You might say, “Peter, you don’t know what I’m going through”, and you’d be right, but I know what Jesus has done for you.
If nothing else, as a Christian, you can praise God that you are a new creation (2 Cor 5:17) , that because Jesus became sin, you could become the righteousness (right standing) of God in Him ( 2 Cor 5:21), that you are accepted in the beloved (Eph 1:6), that He remembers your sins no more (Heb 10:17), that you are justified by faith, have peace with God and have full access to His grace ( Rom 5:1-2) and that you have the Love of God (the supernatural agape of God) poured out on your heart by the Holy Ghost (Rom 5:5).
I could go on all day but to be in a place of strength we need to start praising God for what He has already given us in Christ. Eph 6:13 say having done all, to stand. We are often looking for that missing ingredient where I believe that often it is just to praise God and let God be God.
We Love You and are praying for you.
God bless,
Peter and Cristie
